Who Am I?
As a legal advocate in training, Canon is often engaging in speaking and writing opportunities. His law school professor once told him that “words matter” and Canon has worked diligently to embody this declaration in his daily interactions, even when he is talking to himself. As a result, Canon often speaks on techniques to master elements of self-talk and self-doubt with the ultimate goal of helping people fulfill their life’s purpose. He also writes to advocate on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves. This is his passion, his attempt to pay it forward.
Who Would Have Thought?
In Canon’s time away from school, he enjoys curating experiences with @ReliveTheBAR where he coordinates events for the black alumni of the University of Michigan, including the Official Homecoming Weekend. ReliveTheBAR also hosts an annual Black Wolverine Book Fund where it raises money for student textbooks by connecting alumni with graduating seniors.
